Stakeholders Information Kit

The Stakeholders Information Kit has recently been distributed to over 1700 businesses contributing to the Shepparton Show Me promotional fund.

We encourage businesses to complete the supplier registration form to enable Shepparton Show Me to keep businesses informed on upcoming promotions and additonally it will provide businesses with more opportunities to be involved in Shepparton Show Me actitivies.

What is Shepparton Show Me?

Shepparton Show Me is a collaborative marketing umbrella that strategically promotes the business sector during key periods and to specific markets.

 

History

Shepparton Show Me was formed in 1998 when a small group of dedicated stakeholders in Shepparton's CBD came together to deliver on their shared vision of Shepparton becoming the retail, commercial, entertainment and cultural heart of Provincial Victoria by creating a character and identity exclusive to Shepparton.

Today, we promote Shepparton to people across northern Victoria and southern New South Wales as a diverse, vibrant and exciting place, and as the premier location for commercial, retail and entertainment offerings.

We are proud of our achievements across a diverse range of promotions & activities. We believe we play a valuable role in growing the business & retail precinct and will continue to partner with the Council to bring large events to town that provide economic benefit to our stakeholders.

We believe our town is on the eve of an exciting era of growth and development, and Shepparton Show Me is ready to play its part. We are proud of the town we live in and we want to see all businesses continue to grow and prosper.

Vision

To support the continued development of Shepparton's retail and commercial precinct by creating a character and identity exclusive to Shepparton.

Mission

Through the marketing of retail and business services and by providing monetary assistance to major events, Shepparton Show Me will grow Shepparton's retail economy.

Mission Activities
  1. Provide a coordinated marketing strategy utilising appropriate advertising media and services to support events and activities which primarily meet the Panels assessment criteria.

  2. Foster the development of trader groups and associations with stakeholders in order to tailor and maximise the benefits of promotional programs.

  3. Encourage all stakeholders to fulfill the expectations of visitors to Shepparton.

  4. Ensure an effective line of communication is maintained with all stakeholders using newsletters, levy payer meetings, or any other appropriate method.

Long-Term Plan

  1. Develop Shepparton's retail and business precinct as the most recognised provider of goods and services in regional Victoria and southern New South Wales.

  2. To have Shepparton widely recognised for its events and festivals.

  3. To monitor the recognition development of the Shepparton Show Me promotion. This will be achieved by establishing a benchmark by which to measure success.
