Australian Seniors Tennis Teams Carnival

Australian Teams Carnival is a round robin doubles competition for men and women, with players from all over Australia and overseas. Enter a team with your friends through your state or nominate individually in your state and be selected in a team.

Teams should ideally consist of 5-6 players. Each match consists of four doubles rubbers played on two courts. Each rubber consists of two sets (1st to 6 games t/b 5 all). Teams may play two matches per day. Teams are grouped in either 5 or 10 year brackets from the age of 35 onwards and placed in sections according to team strength.
Social Program The Opening Ceremony and Welcome will be held on Sunday 6 Jan 2019 following the teams practice sessions. A social calendar will be available closer to the event.
This event is run in conjunction with the Australian Seniors Individual Championships 13 - 19 January 2019.
Shepparton Lawn Tennis Club is one of Victoria’s premier grass court tennis venues, with 22 grass courts. Set in a spectacular location adjacent to Victoria Park Lake and alongside the Goulburn River, the club is within walking distance to motels, hotels, caravan parks and central Shepparton.
For the teams’ carnival in Mooroopna, the facility will be transformed from a sporting space to world class tennis courts.
